Business Development Manager – Residential ESS

Seed Clean Energy  is one of the fastest growing energy storage products supplier in Australia providing green energy solutions in portable and residential ESS sectors. As a Business Development Manager focusing on residential ESS business in Australia , you will implement the company’s strategy in identifying, securing, and establishing business relationship with different business partners like solar installers/retailers, homebuilders, distributors and wholesalers. In this role, you will also be accountable for

  • Identify, secure and establishing business partnership with clients
  • Build and manage B2B sales channels including solar installers/retailers and home builders, retailers and wholesalers to achieve sale target
  • Travel to meet customers. Do on site presentation and/or demonstration of the company’s products and solutions.
  • Build your sales strategy and channel development plans in line with company strategies
  • Conduct regular training to customers to ensure they are up-to-date and knowledgeable in all the renewable solutions offered by the company
  • Support in the development of channel sales and training materials
  • Provide regular sales report and forecast
  • Provide general customer support to all B2B clients and work with other teams to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Collect and report market intelligence such as competitor products and pricing.

Successful Applicant

  • Experience in the Australian residential solar industry with either a solar retailer/installer or technology provider (e.g., inverter and/or battery manufacturer, energy company)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or similar
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Strong strategic sales capability
  • Strong hands-on experience in establishing and growing sales channels
  • A strong sales performer with a track record of delivering hands-on sales growth and exceeding business targets
  • An excellent communicator who is at ease presenting across to customers, stakeholders and industry alike
